Where are we?

We’re situated in beautiful woodlands next to Hartsholme Lake. Just minutes away from access to local bus services and 3 miles away from Lincoln Cathedral and the town centre.

Activities, trips and events

Our natural gardens and seated areas are the perfect places to relax in the sunshine and we have raised beds for garden enthusiasts. Our hair salon offers an opportunity for a spot of pampering and our sweet shop is also a very popular area.

We have a schedule of optional events and activities, helping residents to explore their interests and discover new ones. There’s a weekly art class, armchair exercise sessions, move-it mobility, baking, arts and crafts, and church services. We have a dedicated chaplain, external entertainers and have regular toddler group and therapy dogs visit too.

We enjoy a trip out to the shops, local garden centres or to the local dairy for ice-cream and we have an annual seaside trip. We also love any excuse for a themed event.

Chaplaincy and pastoral support

We are proud to be supported by a dedicated Chaplain who offers pastoral support to all, whatever their beliefs. Our chaplain provides a listening presence, companionship and one-to-one pastoral support for all residents, their friends and relatives, and staff members - irrespective of their beliefs - and organise worship for those who wish to participate. Where appropriate, residents are encouraged to maintain links with local faith communities.

Seize the day – unique and memorable opportunities

Funded through charitable support, every MHA care home also prides itself in being able to offer unique and memorable opportunities and activities for residents to quite literally help them 'seize the day'.

Privacy and independence, friendship and support - 24 hours a day

Stones Place offers care and comfort, compassion and friendship. At the heart of all we offer is our assurance that you will be treated with the respect and dignity that we all deserve, and if you need anything at all, we’re here to help, 24 hours a day.

Whether in the privacy of your own room or relaxing in the company of your friends and neighbours, we will support you to spend your time doing the things you enjoy. Let us know if it’s music, a favourite newspaper, exercise or a spot of pampering at the salon. Landscaped gardens invite you to appreciate the fresh air, or tend the plants, if you wish. There’s a wide range of social events, so you never need to feel bored or lonely.

Meal times are a special part of the day for you to savour tasty food, freshly cooked by our chef to suit you and any dietary needs. And, of course refreshments are available throughout the day for you and your visitors, who are welcome at any time.

Stones Place has the latest safety and security design features so you can live life to the full with peace of mind.

Your room

We encourage our residents to furnish their own rooms as they wish. This could be as simple as hanging a couple of their favourite pictures on the wall, but they’re also welcome to bring their own comfy chair, or anything that makes them feel at home. The most important thing is for everyone to feel comfortable, happy and settled.

We have a mix of room types, including some with a full en suite wet room or an en suite toilet and sink. Some rooms also enjoy lovely garden views.

Residential Care

Our residential care is all about providing a special kind of home from home. It’s our way of making sure your loved one continues to live life to its fullest and remains as independent as possible. It means they can get out and about when they want to, catch up with friends or pop to the shops, but with the added security and peace of mind that comes from knowing 24-hour support is available if they need it.

Our team are on hand to offer just the right amount of care, giving those who need it support with activities such as bathing, dressing and mealtimes.

Without having to worry about cooking meals, washing clothes or getting the hoover out, you’ll see your loved one fully enjoying life and exploring their full potential.

Food and drink

Meal times are a special part of the day for you to savour tasty food, freshly cooked by our chef to suit you and any dietary needs. And, of course refreshments are available throughout the day for you and your visitors, who are welcome at any time.

Our commitment to your well-being

Our highly-trained, dedicated members of staff will always be on hand to provide your care and support in the way that best suits you, in the comfort of your own room with en suite facilities.

We choose the people who work with us very carefully

They need to share our values and respect people, their life experience and personal choices.
