Our Strategy 2022-2025

We aim to ensure that MHA is best positioned to continue our support for people in later life for years to come.

We support more than 19,200 older people each year through our unique blend of care homes, retirement living and community groups embedded in local communities.

At its core, our mission as a charity is to enable people to live later life well, whether that’s through social activity or befriending in one of our 62 MHA Communities schemes, or the support and care offered in one of our 67 retirement living settings or 86 care homes.

Our revised strategy for 2022-2025, The Road Ahead, is based on how we’re moving forward from the Covid-19 pandemic and to best position us to enable people to live later life well.

Our strategic pillars

To enable us to make our strategy a reality, we have five main pillars, all of which have a set of objectives we are working towards. The pillars are:

  1. MHA reshaping care and later living
  2. MHA connections
  3. MHA enhancing later life
  4. MHA fit for the future
  5. MHA people.
