At our retirement housing with care developments (also known as assisted living and extra-care housing), you can enjoy an independent later life with your own private property and the peace of mind of having on-site care and support ready to help you, if and when you need them.

Each development offers a variety of communal facilities, such as a café/bistro, lounge, hair salon and gardens to help you connect with a community of like-minded people, where you can make new friends and find companionship.

You can choose from different options to rent, purchase or share ownership of properties, including one and two-bedroom apartments, studios and bungalows. We also have a Rent Before You Buy option, which lets you move into a property quickly and easily.

Community and friendship

Our retirement housing with care schemes offer a wide range of activities and social environments tailored to the residents' interests and abilities, where you are able to meet like-minded people, create new friendships and offer companionship. Most schemes also boast communal areas which offer spacious and comfortable settings to socialise with others within the community.

Supporting your independence

Within our retirement housing with care schemes, we can offer 24-hour onsite support and help in an emergency, as well as tailored support and care packed to help you maintain your independence. This includes assistance with maintenance, domestic, laundry, personal care, and trips to the shops and medical appointments.

Your peace of mind

Our retirement housing with care schemes ensure that you will always be safe and secure. All of our schemes have secure door entry systems and our properties have systems which allow you to alert someone in the event of an emergency, with an option for a personal alarm. This will contact a member of the on-site support team. This is not a care service but will provide support during an emergency, and may involve co-ordinating external agencies.

Chaplaincy and pastoral support

Our retirement housing with care schemes offer pastoral support for residents and their families when they wish to share their worries or joys to enable them to live later life well.
