Fundraise or organise an event
in memory

Remember your loved one by organising an event or fundraising in their memory in aid of MHA

You can remember your loved one by organising an event or fundraising in their memory in aid of MHA, including your local home or scheme. Below are just a few ideas:

A special service or celebration of a life well lived can be a way to remember and raise money for MHA. Simply get together with friends and family and organise what feels right to celebrate their life. Take donations for MHA and organise activities your loved one would have liked.

Run for your mum, dad, granny, grandad, aunt, uncle or loved one in the Great North Run in 2024 and raise money for MHA – Visit Great North Run to join the team.

Alternatively register for any local race and challenge yourself – Remember to set up your JustGiving page to collect online donations.

Organising an event connected to the hobby or interests of your loved one is a special way to honour and remember them. Perhaps they were avid dancers, your could organise a local charity tea dance or they were passionate football fans, organise a charity football match.
