The management of MHA’s Stones Place Care Home in Lincoln will be attending a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday 5 June.

Home Manager Emma Pickett, Deputy Manager Bev Murray and former Manager Anna Golightly were nominated by Deputy Lieutenant of Lincolnshire David Chambers as he had been so impressed with the care that his mother, Barbara Chambers, had received as a resident.

People invited to Royal Garden Parties have all made a positive impact in their community. Guests have a chance of meeting Her Majesty The Queen or other members of the Royal Family and can enjoy military bands, the Palace gardens and afternoon tea.

Emma said: “It’s a particular honour for Stones Place to be singled out in MHA’s 75th anniversary year. The way Stones Place cared for Barbara Chambers was the same way we care for all our residents or, rather, the care is specifically tailored and person-centred as MHA believes in respecting every person as a unique individual.”

Stones Place Care Home on Skellingthorpe Road is judged to be ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
