The new Live at Home Scheme in Anlaby, Hull was launched at 2.30pm on 29 February at Anlaby Park Methodist Church. The launch celebrated the official start of this new scheme and allowed local people to hear all about the difference Live at Home makes for older, vulnerable people in Hull.

MHA Live at Home provides a lifeline of friendship and support to older people who are often isolated and finding it difficult to cope. All our local schemes are run by Live at Home Managers and supported by a local committee.

Our services are provided by a dedicated team of volunteers.  “Live at Home helps with whatever I need – small jobs, or reading things I don’t understand," said one MHA Live at Home member.

Others added, "I can’t speak highly enough of what they do" and “It is the highlight of the week for me. I live alone, am visually impaired, generally housebound and at the age of 88… it could not be improved on.”
