MHA Auchlochan team on Eggheads

MHA Regional Chaplain Cliff Jackson and the ‘Auchlochan Giants’ appeared on BBC2’s Eggheads on Wednesday 8 November.

The episode, filmed in Glasgow in June, saw Cliff and his team from Auchlochan Garden Village in Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire narrowly losing to the programme’s resident team of Eggheads.  The other team members are Manager Will Clifford, Chaplain Fionnaigh Reid, Cliff’s daughter, Ellen, and resident John Turner, with resident Shirley Richmond in reserve.

Cliff said, “None of us had ever been in a formal quiz situation before so it was a fantastic experience.  We were treated like royalty and thoroughly enjoyed meeting the Eggheads, who were all pleasant, friendly and encouraging.”
