New CEO of MHA announced
The Board of MHA is delighted to announce the appointment of Adrian Bagg to the position of Chief Executive.
Adrian, who is currently the Chief Executive of leading disability charity Papworth Trust, will join MHA in March 2014.
Keith Salsbury, Chairman of MHA said, “We are very pleased to appoint Adrian. We believe that he will build on the formidable success achieved under the stewardship of Roger Davies. Adrian has an excellent track record at Papworth Trust and has led the organisation to work with more disabled people every year, trebling contracted and fundraised income and significantly increasing volunteering as well as the charity’s influence in the policy arena. He shares our values and our commitment to improving housing, care and support services for older people and has a breadth of charity and private sector experience which we believe will be an asset to MHA.
Adrian, whose mother lives at an MHA care home in Hitchin, said: "I am excited to be joining an organisation with such genuine passion for the quality of care delivered to older people. To be part of this successful, ambitious and values-driven organisation is a dream job for me. I look forward to seeing MHA do even more for older people in the years to come as we face the challenges of an increasing older population and delivering great quality to our residents.”
Adrian will take over from Roger Davies when he steps down from the Chief Executive position on 1 March after 16 years of service.
