All smiles at MHA Chapel Fields following strong performance in rating by Care Quality Commission

There is plenty to smile about at MHA Chapel Fields following their recent inspection from the Care Quality Commission.

The Frodsham home received a ‘good’ rating following the conclusion of their recent inspection and were praised for positive culture in the home and the management team and staff understood the importance of effective teamwork.

They added

  • Medicines were managed safely, and people received their medicines as prescribed.
  • Records relating to medicines were completed accurately, and people’s needs were met. 
  • Quality monitoring was effective and robust, and the service evidenced continuous improvement.
  • People felt safe and the registered manager ensured people were safeguarded from abuse.

The home provides residential care, providing personal and nursing care for up to 70 people.

Heather Ross, home manager said: “I am very proud of the staff and the achievement we have all reached here at MHA Chapel Fields.

“It's the first time we have received this rating since I have been home manager and it's a very proud moment.

“Our aim now is to achieve the same rating as a minimum, but to keep improving and try to reach the outstanding rating.

“Once again, I would like to thank everyone for their hard work.”
