Do you have a green thumb and a passion for gardening? Do you want to share your skills and enthusiasm with older people in your community? If so, you might be interested in becoming a volunteer gardener for MHA.
As a volunteer gardener, you will help maintain and improve the gardens of our care homes and/or retirement living schemes across England and Wales. You will also assist our residents and members to enjoy the benefits of nature and gardening, such as improved physical and mental health, social interaction, and creativity.
By volunteering as a gardener, you will not only help create beautiful and therapeutic outdoor spaces for older people, but also enrich your own life with new experiences and friendships. You will also gain valuable skills and knowledge that can enhance your personal and professional development.
