What would I be doing as a care home administrative support volunteer?
You would be helping the admin team as needed, supporting with administrative tasks and responding to enquiries. Tasks could include, helping with answering telephone calls, taking messages, filing, photocopying, sorting post/parcels and other clerical duties.
What impact would I have?
These simple admin tasks could free up another member of staff to help deal with ever-changing environment that the covid-19 outbreak has created in our care homes. As you can imagine, at this time, we are having an increase of enquiries in our homes so having someone to help take this enquiries, would really help.
