Chaplaincy Roles

We need you to provide one-to-one support, comfort, and a listening ear to our residents, members, their families, and our colleagues.

We’re really proud of our dedicated chaplaincy service across all our care homes, and most of our retirement living schemes, MHA Communities and head office. At MHA, we’re dedicated to providing high-quality spiritual care and place great importance on nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of those we care for, their families and our colleagues, of all faiths and none.

This role is about compassion, listening to and supporting the spiritual and religious needs of people in later life. We’re looking for an empathic and caring person to join #TeamMHA

As a chaplain you will:

  • Provide one-to-one support, comfort, and a listening ear to our residents, members, their families and MHA colleagues

  • Support residents, members, and families at the end of life

  • Assist with any religious duties, where appropriate praying with residents, reading scripture and engaging in conversation

  • Find opportunities to share our work with local faith communities and networks.

Though previous experience is desirable, the right approach and willingness to undertake full training is far more important to us. You will be part of a team that believes in respecting every resident as a unique individual.
