At this time, this role is flexible. You will receive essential training and we will prepare you the very best we can. We will then call upon you when our services require these roles the most.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative person to join our care home team. You will be responsible for meeting the social needs of our residents, providing a varied timetable of activities that are accessible and appropriate for the individual.

As part of our dedicated care home team, as an Activities Co-ordinator, you will:

  • Plan and run a programme of social, physical and spiritual activities for the residents or/day care service users according to their needs identified in their care plans
  • Interact with residents’ friends and family, including attending residents review meetings. Meeting and greeting visitors to the home
  • Support residents with accessing a range of IT options including social media, skype etc.

Though previous experience is desirable, the right approach and willingness to undertake full training is far more important to us. You will be part of team who believe in respecting every resident as a unique individual, treating them with the dignity you would wish for yourself.
