YouTube sensation Oli White has thanked a local care home in Letchworth for taking ‘absolutely incredible’ care of his nana in a tribute video shared on YouTube.
The 23 year old vlogger has 2.8m subscribers to his online video channel, where he shares funny videos and musings with his fans around the world.
Oli’s grandmother, Peggy Davis, starred in a number of his videos which he remembers in a touching compilation of their best bits together. So far the online video has received 331,204 views.
In the tribute film, Oli chose to thank his grandmother’s care home, MHA Trembaths, and its team of carers for always being there to support his nan, saying:
“Trembaths care home in Letchworth have been absolutely incredible towards my nan. They have helped her so much and have literally been by her side from the very start. So, the revenue that this video makes I’m actually going to be donating to them to say thank you.”
Sue Stilwell, Chaplain at MHA Trembaths, said: “Peggy was a much-loved resident at Trembaths Care Home and was someone whom staff and volunteers always warmed to. Peggy was blessed with a devoted family who supported us in her care. It was a great privilege for us to look after Peggy and we are truly encouraged by Oli’s words. She shall be missed by us all and we will remember her reflections on a ‘marvellous’ life.”
