Residents of MHA’s Engelberg Care Home on Ash Hill, Compton, Wolverhampton will be treated to a Valentine’s Tea and a Chinese-themed day this month.
The Valentine’s Tea tomorrow (Tuesday 13 February) will include romantic music, food and decorations. On Monday 19 February, residents will decorate Chinese lanterns and hats before enjoying a Chinese meal.
Other forthcoming activities include a coffee morning on Saturday 24 February at 10.30am, which is open to the public.
Manager Daniel Cash said, “We like to celebrate as many significant dates in the calendar as we can and try to make sure we include activities to reflect diverse cultures. We also have regular coffee mornings to allow members of the public to see what life is like here and to give our residents chance to meet people in their local community and make new friends.”
Engelberg Care Home is judged to be ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
