Steinway Event

Thank you so much for being part of our music therapy event at Steinway Hall. We were delighted to have the opportunity to share our passion for music therapy with you, and hopefully we were able to inspire you with the real different music therapy can make to the lives of our residents living with dementia.

Our aim for the event is that, with your support, we will be able to employ two additional music therapists. It costs approximately £43k to employ a music therapist for a year.

Our music therapy service is funded entirely by charitable donations and support from people like yourselves. We currently employ 19 music therapists who are able to help 450 of our residents each year. Every recipient of music therapy from MHA receives this amazing service free of charge. For us to provide music therapy to all 1,900 residents living in our specialist dementia care settings we need to raise a further £1.5million so we can employ another 35 music therapists.
