Europe and the EU Referendum have dominated the media, but other Parliamentary business has been conintuing too. The Housing and Welfare Bills have been under scrutiny, with the Housing Bill generating over 100 possible amendments in the House of Lords. The Charities Bill is waiting final sign off before it becomes law, but other developments have taken place sector including the publication of the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee report on Kid's Company, an alert from the Charity Commission on working with commerical partners and the development of the Fundraising Regulator. In health and social care, workforce issues have continued, amongst junior doctors, the nursing shortage and GP pressures. All this is summarised below, along with other research and policy in areas of interest to MHA. p
