Montpellier Manor, a brand new MHA care home being built on Strait Lane off Low Lane in Stainton, Middlesbrough, has celebrated the progress of the build with a topping out ceremony.

The design and build has been undertaken by Angela Swift Developments, specialists in the construction of care homes.

The newly built accommodation, set in the picturesque outskirts of Stainton, is due to open early 2018 and will accommodate up to 85 residents in a beautiful community setting.

Paul Tonks, senior development manager at MHA commented: “This is a big day for everyone involved in this development, but especially for the new team who will soon be welcoming our residents into their new home.

“MHA is passionate about giving each individual the respect and dignity they deserve and the best possible quality of life. We’re delighted that, through Montpellier Manor, we are able to bring MHA’s specialist care to those with dementia in the Middlesbrough area. This wonderful new home will have so much to offer the local community, including bringing 100 new jobs to the area.”

“As a purpose-built residential dementia care home, Montpellier Manor has been thoughtfully designed and decorated for the specific needs of its new residents. Safety, familiarity and ease of navigation were front of mind for the teams behind the design and construction.”

Angela Swift, of Angela Swift Developments said: “It’s an exciting day for the team as we see Montpellier Manor take shape. Although we have reached the highest point in construction, with the full opening just around the corner, we’re very much looking forward to the true high point when the doors are opened and residents are able to settle into their new home.”
