Nadhim Zahawi, MP for Stratford-on-Avon, has visited MHA’s ‘Outstanding’ Cedar Lawn Care Home to discuss issues including social care pressures and services for older people.
Manager Linda Traynier said, “It was a real privilege to meet our local MP. It was a pleasure to introduce him to the members of staff who have worked so hard to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating and who continue to work empathically to provide the best possible care. Mr Zahawi was extremely impressed by the standards here at Cedar Lawn and was very eager to offer help and support, where he can, to allow us access to more local facilities that will benefit our residents in a positive way. We look forward to working with him more in the future.”
Liz Jones, Head of Policy & Research at MHA, added, “We were delighted to show MHA in action in Nadhim’s constituency. This was a valuable opportunity for us to discuss various issues, both national and local, affecting our services with him. We are very grateful to Mr Zahawi for coming to visit Cedar Lawn. He was a hit.”
Cedar Lawn Care Home on Cedar Close, Stratford-upon-Avon is judged to be ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
