Keith Albans, Director of Chaplaincy and Spirituality, reminds us that MHA has established a tradition of marking the extra Leap Day, with a celebration of the ‘leap of faith’ that started MHA, by holding a central event together with similar ones in each of our projects.

Our 2012 event will be held at The Roundhouse in Derby on Wednesday 29th February from 4.30pm – 7.30pm. As the Roundhouse is one of the oldest surviving examples of ground-breaking railway architecture, it was thought an appropriate setting for an event that will celebrate the life journeys of the people in our projects, MHA’s own journey, and which will include a look ahead to future destinations.

The event will also include the culmination of our Handwritten Bible project, which has involved residents and staff in 85 of our projects writing out the entire New Testament in celebration of the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible
