Montpellier Manor, a brand new MHA care home on Strait Lane off Low Lane in Stainton, is actively recruiting around 80 new members of staff from the local area. MHA is an award-winning charity providing care, accommodation and support services for older people throughout Britain.
Building at MHA Montpellier Manor is nearing completion and the home is due to open in April.
Experienced care professional Gail Starling has been appointed as the home’s manager.
Gail has 40 years of experience in the healthcare sector, with previous management roles including the running of a regional support centre and a large care home in the North East of England. In 2016, she was voted Registered Manager of the Year out of 350 homes.
Gail said: “We can’t wait to put together our extensive team of passionate and skilled individuals, who will help provide a wonderful environment for our lovely new residents, as well as the rest of the Stainton community.
“There are numerous roles available – from managerial care positions to those just starting out in the industry. Whether you have years of experience under your belt or have always considered a profession in care and would love the opportunity to be supported and trained through a career change, there are roles to suit every level.
“All departments are hiring including maintenance, care, administration, hospitality and catering. If you’re looking for an exciting new role, get in touch.”
As part of national charity MHA, Montpellier Manor will also be on the lookout for volunteers for a variety of roles.
The new care home has been developed by Angela Swift Developments, specialists in the construction of care homes and retirement living properties.
