Burnley care home Heather Grange celebrated its autumn relaunch with a party last week. The home, providing residential and dementia care, is now proudly owned by MHA.

The autumnal festivities were held at the home, located on Queen's Road in Burnley. It was a great turn-out, with residents and guests enjoying lots of live music, as well as a raffle, a tombola and other family-friendly activities.

Visitors enjoyed taking a look around the MHA home and getting a feel for what the residents and staff get up to at Heather Grange.

The relaunch comes at an exciting time for Heather Grange, which is now recognised under the banner of Methodist Homes, commonly known as MHA, a registered charity with almost 75 years’ experience caring for people as they age.

Speaking on behalf of MHA and the Heather Grange team, manager Donna Laird said: “We had a really lovely time with our guests and residents at the autumn party. We had a great turn-out, with lots of relatives coming to pay us a visit and guests who’d never heard of the home before.

“Becoming part of the MHA family has been an exciting time for us, so it was great to have a chance to celebrate and also be able to show the local community what life is like for our residents here at Heather Grange.”
