Imagine being able to see into the future – to know what’s in store for us and our loved ones in the years ahead. It’s impossible for any of us to know what the future holds, but we can all make plans that will help us to live life as we choose as we get older.

Making a move in retirement should be empowering, enabling us to continue to enjoy life, with the peace of mind of knowing there will be support available if things should change.

We know this at MHA, and that is why we are currently developing The Fairways Retirement Village in Chippenham. Part of our ethos is to strive constantly to improve our services to meet the changing needs of older people, and to ensure that the support we offer is focused on people’s individual needs. This is why, at The Fairways, we offer a range of lifestyle options, so people are not committed to a way of living that might be unsuitable in the future, if those needs change.

Already there is a residential and dementia care home up and running at The Fairways. One, two and three bedroomed apartments, with discreet and personalised care available on-site as required, are also in development. Community life at The Fairways will be well served with facilities such as a glass-roofed atrium where residents can play bowls, mini golf or giant chess, plus a café bistro, gym, swimming pool and convenience store. In total, up to 130 people could live in the village, in safety and security.

We are creating a place that will continue to provide older people with options – for living independently, for residential care should that be the right path, for privacy and for community life. In this way, The Fairways offers the freedom of quality and choice, every day.
