Epworth Grange residents relive the 1940s

Residents of MHA’s Epworth Grange Care Home in Bury will be going back to the 1940s with wartime food and entertainment on Friday (25 May).

There will be a 1940s-style singer, wartime photos, memorabilia, stories, films, costumes and afternoon tea.

Manager Susan Hopkinson said, “Many of our residents have a mixture of fond and sad memories from this period, so this event will stimulate their memories, and we look forward to hearing all their stories.”

Epworth Grange Care Home is judged to be ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
