Residents of MHA’s Engelberg Care Home on Ash Hill, Compton will be treated to a range of entertainment and activities this month, including a Bollywood experience and the pantomime, Goldilocks.

Rani Malik will entertain the residents with Bollywood dancing, henna painting and Indian food samples today (Tuesday 12 December), while Goldilocks and the Three Bears will be performed by Gerry Graham Pantos and Productions on Wednesday 20 December.

Other Christmas activities include a meal and entertainment at a Wolverhampton school, a carol service, and concerts by school choirs.

Manager Daniel Cash said, “Many of our residents particularly enjoy pantomimes as they ignite memories from years gone by, but a Bollywood experience will be new for many of them.  We try to make sure we have something for everyone throughout the year and we want to reflect the cultural backgrounds of all our residents.”

Engelberg Care Home is judged to be ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
