Wellbeing at MHA

Resources designed and created for all MHA colleagues.

There are several definitions of wellbeing, however in broad terms they all relate to each of us being comfortable, healthy and happy.  Therefore wellbeing is as individual to each person as their fingerprints. To provide a framework for our approach to wellbeing we have chosen 5 key areas that have been proven to positively impact your wellbeing.

The key areas include;

1. Positive Emotion: This relates to our ability to experience and share positive emotions with our self and others.
2. Engaging: Taking time to engage in activities and hobbies that hold our attention.
3. Connecting: Experiencing positive relationships with our self and others.
4. Meaning and Purpose: Having a clear understanding for our drivers and why we do what we do.
5. Achievements: Ensuring that we have goals to enable us to experience the success of achieving these.
