DAY 2, SAT 18 JUN 2022

Today's walk is the most demnding day of the entire challenge and there is a very noticeable feeling of remoteness on this section of the route. Large sections of todays route have been marked as environmentally sensitive areas and so we can be sure that we will be rewarded for our efforts with spectacular views and a real immersion in local wildlife.

We begin in Pendeen and head in an eastwards direction. The path can often be narrow and boggy along this stretch and today it is necessary for us to carry all of our water and food for the entire day due to the remoteness of the route.

After passing near to Zennor we face a tough section of steep ascents and descents as the path takes us from cliff tops down into the coves and back up again. We will need to dig deep and work as a team to reach our end point in St Ives and our campsite is sure to be a welcome sight upon our return.

Accommodation: Camping. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 3, SUN 19 JUN 2022

Our final day of trekking will see us reaching the most westerly point in the UK, Land's End. Today is also one of the toughest days of the trek so we will need all our remaining energy to make it to the finish point and celebrate our achievements.

We will leave the village of Mousehole behind and follow rugged and remote cliff tops. The route will negotiate the craggy rocks around Lamorna and the pebbled beach of St Loy's Cove. The rugged and rocky terrain continues all the way to our end point at Land's End where we will celebrate accomplishing an incredible 100km of trekking along one of the UK's toughest footpaths.

Upon returning to our campsite we will be able to celebrate with the whole team as we contemplate what we have achieved together.

Accommodation: Camping. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 4, MON 20 JUN 2022

Today's trek starts in Porthleven and takes us in a north-west direction towards Penzance. The first part of the route will take us through the abundance of historic mining sites that dot this area of Cornwall. Some of the mining works offer an impressive insight into the recent past of this part of the country, and the precariously positioned equipment is a reminder of the hazardous nature of this work. Praa Sands is an impressive beach that is popular with surfers and hopefully the weather will offer us the chance to enjoy this popular beauty spot. The rest of the route is full of spectacular coves, such as Piskies Cove with its beautiful clear water. Our day ends just after passing St Michael's Mount, the spectacular castle perched on the island and reached only by a causeway at low tide.

After reaching Penzance you will be able to celebrate over a late lunch before being transferred back to the campsite where you will then be free to depart.
