Services for older people in Test Valley
At MHA Communities Test Valley, we want to enable older people to stay living independently in their own homes for as long as possible, with the best possible quality of life.
Through befriending, lunch clubs, assisted shopping, activity and friendship sessions, outings, escorts to appointments and much more, MHA Communities across the UK help to tackle loneliness and isolation in people over 60 – helping them to lead fulfilled lives and remain as active members in their local communities.
Activities at Test Valley Live at Home scheme include:
- Cheerleading classes in Andover and North Baddesley
- Friendship/social club in Andover
- Lunch club in North Baddesley
- Monthly fundraising craft workshop in North Baddesley

Information for families and friends
If you’re looking at Live at Home to help someone you know, we understand. With a busy work life, family and other responsibilities, sometimes it just isn’t possible to travel regularly and give a loved one the dedicated care and support you wish you could provide. Refer a family member or friend
Information for healthcare professionals
If an older person in hospital has no family, friends or neighbours, we can assist them to return home.
