We need you to provide one-to-one support, comfort, and a listening ear to our residents, members, their families, and our colleagues.

Do you have a passion for spiritual care and pastoral support? Do you want to share your faith and values with older people and their families? Do you want to join a team that celebrates diversity and inclusion? If so, you might be interested in joining our chaplaincy team at MHA.

As a chaplain at MHA, you will be responsible for providing spiritual care and pastoral support to our residents, members, colleagues and volunteers. You will offer worship, prayer, sacraments, listening and companionship. You will also respect and honour the different faiths, beliefs and cultures of our diverse community.

We are looking for people who have:

  • A recognised qualification or experience in chaplaincy or pastoral care
  • A good understanding of the needs and challenges of older people
  • A compassionate, respectful and empathetic attitude
  • A willingness to work ecumenically and interfaithfully
  • A commitment to MHA’s values and vision.
