38 places for residential care

Just a short walk from the centre of Norwich, Cromwell House opened in 1969 and was MHA's first, purpose-built care home in the city.

Cromwell House has undergone major refurbishment work - it is now fresh, modern and suited to the needs of older people.

All of the resident's rooms comprise en-suite facilities whilst the dining room has been refreshed to enable residents to enjoy a much more attractive dining experience.

Testing & Vaccination

Residents are tested regularly and have been offered their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, with many also having received their second dose. Any new residents will be tested on admission and be supported during a 14-day period of self-isolation to protect themselves and others.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

We have good stock levels of approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which is worn by all our staff and any necessary visitors to the care home.

Keeping in touch

We’re doing everything we can to stay in touch with residents’ family and loved ones, updating them on the current situation and any changes to visiting through online updates, remotely organised meetings and letters.

Meet Jennifer Howes, Home Manager

"Music Therapy has a very therapeutic effect on residents, especially those living with dementia. The difference at the end of the sessions is quite clear to see, how much calmer residents are after receiving music therapy."
