Privacy and independence, friendship and support - 24 hours a day

Belvedere Manor offers care and comfort, compassion and friendship. At the heart of all we offer is our assurance that you will be treated with the respect and dignity that we all deserve, and if you need anything at all, we’re here to help, 24 hours a day.

Whether in the privacy of your own room or relaxing in the company of your friends and neighbours, we will support you to spend your time doing the things you enjoy. Let us know if it’s music, a favourite newspaper, exercise or a spot of pampering at the salon. Landscaped gardens invite you to appreciate the fresh air, or tend the plants, if you wish. There’s a wide range of social events, so you never need to feel bored or lonely.

Belvedere Manor has the latest safety and security design features so you can live life to the full with peace of mind.

Residential care

Finding a place that you can call "home" is a question of getting the right balance.

Belvedere Manor’s residential care provides 24 hour support to help you maintain independence – giving you peace of mind and a place to make new friends and explore new interests.

In many ways it is like living in a luxury hotel, where you don’t need to worry about laundry, changing the bed or cleaning your room. We will use the district nurse and GPs to provide any medical care. Our caring staff help with everyday activities like bathing and dressing and support at meal times.

At the same time, we’ll support you to maintain links with the local community, or develop new friendships. Care staff will help you do that, while also working hard to create a home that’s full of opportunity and possibility.

In the main living areas of the home you will find lounges where you can join in one of the many activities with others or sit quietly with a book or newspaper.

Dedicated dementia care

MHA is a pioneer of person-centred dementia care in the UK.

With a reputation for providing the highest quality care, our person-centred care recognises each person as a unique individual and addresses their own spiritual and physical needs, with both reassurance and support.

Everyone with dementia is different. At Belvedere Manor, we take time to get to know each individual’s history, personality and preferences, and find ways to make every day fulfilling. There is wide range of activities and reminiscence therapy, keeping social interaction and stimulation a key part of everyday life.

Focusing on individual needs and support for older people, we make sure that we help our residents live later life well, aiming to alleviate the symptoms of dementia with understanding and expertise.

Our dementia areas at Belvedere Manor are designed to be safe for you, and also as familiar, reassuring and as easy to navigate as possible.

We provide ‘show and tell’ at mealtimes where you are visually presented with the two meals on the menu so you can select which one you would like. Other options are also available if you would like an alternative.
