Your Safety Is Our Priority
Protecting our residents, caring for them in a safe and secure environment is our number one prioirty. We ensure regular deep-cleaning of all areas and robust infection control measures in place at all times.

Keeping In Touch
We recognise the importance of keeping in touch with your loved ones so we actively encourage this across our care homes. There are several ways in which you can stay in touch with your loved ones.
News and Updates
Privacy and independence, friendship and support - 24 hours a day
Laurel Court offers care and comfort, compassion and friendship. At the heart of all we offer is our assurance that you will be treated with the respect and dignity that we all deserve, and if you need anything at all, we’re here to help, 24 hours a day.
Whether in the privacy of your own room or relaxing in the company of your friends and neighbours, we will support you to spend your time doing the things you enjoy. Let us know if it’s music, a favourite newspaper, exercise or a spot of pampering at the salon. Landscaped gardens invite you to appreciate the fresh air, or tend the plants, if you wish. There’s a wide range of social events, so you never need to feel bored or lonely.
We have the latest safety and security design features so you can live life to the full with peace of mind.
Your room
All our bedrooms have a full en suite wet room, with toilet and sink. Some rooms enjoy lovely garden views and there’s WiFi throughout the home.
We encourage our residents to furnish their own rooms as they wish. This could be as simple as hanging a couple of their favourite pictures on the wall, but they’re also welcome to bring their own comfy chair, or anything that makes them feel at home. The most important thing is for everyone to feel comfortable, happy and settled.
Residential care
Our residential care is all about providing a special kind of home from home. It’s our way of making sure your loved one continues to live life to its fullest and remains as independent as possible.
It means they can get out and about when they want to, catch up with friends or pop to the shops, but with the added security and peace of mind that comes from knowing 24-hour support is available if they need it.
Our team are on hand to offer just the right amount of care, giving those who need it support with activities such as bathing, dressing and mealtimes.
Without having to worry about cooking meals, washing clothes or getting the hoover out, you’ll see your loved one truly enjoying life and exploring their full potential.
Nursing care
We provide round the clock specialist nursing care for those with medical needs, whether that’s a long-term illness or disability. Medical and other forms of specialist support are delivered with friendly expertise by our highly skilled team of nursing professionals.
As you’d expect from our wonderfully compassionate team, nursing care is wholly person-centred to meet the requirements of each individual with respect and dignity at all times.
Residential dementia care
We’re proud to be recognised for our pioneering approach to dementia care, which is carefully built around each individual.
Our dementia facilities here are second to none, and specially designed to provide a reassuringly familiar, engaging and warm environment for those living with us. We have dementia friendly decor and bedroom doors have memory boxes to assist your loved one to find their room. And our dementia areas open into a secure and peaceful garden.
Residents enjoy music therapy and reminiscence activities, including doll therapy, designed to stimulate social interaction and alleviate the feeling of isolation associated with dementia.
Food and drink
Mealtimes are an important part of the day here, giving our residents the opportunity to get together and enjoy freshly prepared food in a relaxed restaurant-style environment. We always offer two meal options and our chefs will happily prepare something special if nothing on the menu appeals.
- Freshly prepared meals, cooked by our in-house chef
- All dietary and religious needs catered for
- Locally sourced meats, fruit and vegetables where possible
- Seasonal ingredients – menus change three times a year with input from residents
- Specialist equipment and assistance as needed
- Snacks and drinks available 24 hours a day
- Home baking every day
- Relatives welcome to join residents for meals
Our commitment to your wellbeing
Our highly-trained, dedicated members of staff will always be on hand to provide your care and support in the way that best suits you, in the comfort of your own room with full en suite facilities.
We choose the people who work with us very carefully. They need to share our values and respect people, their life experience and personal choices.
We take pride in the cleanliness and maintenance of your home and provide a thorough and friendly cleaning service. Your personal washing will be carefully laundered and returned to you, clean and fresh.
We also provide regular gentle exercise sessions and have close links with GP surgeries, district nurses and dentists. Our in-house hair salon keeps everyone looking their best.
