Davids House was acquired from Willow Housing and Care in December 2007. It is a purpose-built residential and dementia Care Home catering for the needs of 30 older people. The Home is located in a quiet residential area of Harrow. A recent refurbishment has brought new facilities including a luxurious sitting room, dining room, toilet, kitchenette and activities room.
All 30 fully furnished bedrooms offer en suite facilities and are spread over two floors served by a lift. Specialist bath and shower facilities are available on each floor. There are two lounges on each floor with dining areas that provide a pleasant environment in which to relax, as do the two bright and spacious conservatories which overlook the gardens.
The Home Manager says: “Residents are always encouraged and helped to participate in making decisions about how the Home is run and to make choices about matters that affect their lives, so our Home is built on their preferences. The assistance of relatives, friends and local church groups is greatly appreciated by the residents.”
