Lawnfield Court is a Sheltered Housing Scheme comprising 17 flats for older people. Situated on the same site as Lawnfield House, one of MHA’s Care Homes, it was built in 2001. The Scheme is located in between two major roads, Willesden Lane and Browdesbury Park, with good transport links to Willesden and central London.
The residents at Lawnfield Court are accommodated on the eastern side of the building over four floor levels, which are served by a lift and an internal staircase. The ground floor comprises two assisted-living units, each with a bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. The first, second and third floors each comprises five units, offering a bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. On the fourth floor communal facilities include a day room and laundry, as well as a guest bedroom to enable visitors to stay overnight.
The Scheme manager said: “The Scheme is loved by residents living here. They like the views of the area, the sizes of the rooms, and the ‘mod-cons’.
