Opened in 1989, Southcroft comprises 37 one-bedroomed flats, seven of them for two people. This Scheme was developed and funded in partnership with LPMA, now the Leaders of Worship and Preachers Trust.
Southcroft was built within the grounds of Psalter Lane Methodist Church, south west of the city centre and within striking distance of the Peak District. It was constructed on three floors, with lift and wheelchair access throughout.
The extensive grounds and gardens, within which both church and Scheme reside, lie close to the Psalter Lane Campus of Sheffield Hallam University, thus placing Southcroft at the heart of a truly multi-generational area.
