MHA has partnered with specialist Charity Greetings to offer you the opportunity to send e-cards for special occasions. With original artwork available, you can send personalised messages and collect cards in your virtual living room while protecting the environment and raising funds for the work of MHA. This is also a great way to raise further sponsorship for your challenges in support of MHA.
MHA relies on the donations and fundraising of many of our supporters to help fund services like music therapy, chaplaincy and spiritual support, and the many activities which make life better for those in our care.
Charitable donations also help us build new care homes and refurbish our existing buildings, so we can continue meeting the needs of older people both now and in the future.
With the economy in recession, affecting employment, pensions and savings rates to name but a few, it’s a difficult time to think about donating to charity.
Fortunately there are ways to support MHA without breaking the bank and while clearing some of your unwanted items! You can…
… get recycling. So far more than 300 people have recycled their old mobile phones or printer cartridges - and MHA gets a donation for each phone or cartridge received. You can order envelopes and boxes online.
… when it’s time for a spring clean, why not raise cash both for yourself and MHA by selling your unwanted treasures on Ebay? You can choose to donate the full sale price to MHA, or just a percentage. Alternatively, why not get together with friends and have a stall at a church fair to de-clutter and raise funds?
