A purpose-built property with state-of-the-art facilities, Beechville is situated on the Chorley New Road, in the Horwich area of Bolton. Formerly a Quaker Home, Beechville has been rebuilt by MHA in a way that supports individuals with general residential, nursing and residential dementia care needs.
The accommodation, which has places for 63 residents, is divided over two floors, each with its own lounge and restaurant. All of the bedrooms have an en suite shower room, with further assisted shower and bathrooms on each floor. Communal areas include a music room, a holistic therapy room, a games and an activities room, a library and a hairdressing salon. There are a number of quiet spaces for residents, including an enclosed therapeutic garden area.
“We have been thrilled with the level of local community support whilst the home was being being built,” says Home Manager Melanie Broadbent. “We are in the process of establishing a Beechville Volunteer Support group who will enhance the service to the residents in our care.”
