The purpose-built 36 place Home is situated just north of The Royal Birkdale Golf Club and near to four other courses.
It was opened in 1976 and named after the Revd Richard Connell, MHA General Secretary from 1955 to 1975.
Connell Court has received a top five-star RDB rating (a Residential and Domiciliary Benchmarking award). These awards are based on “the outcomes of care” and recognise Homes that “are demonstrating a real commitment to improving the quality of life for their residents.”
